Nigeria, March 31 -- The victims, aged 3 and 5, were reportedly abducted from Ezza North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State and taken to Anambra by a suspected child trafficker identified as Sunday Nonye.

The News chronicle gathered that SASA operatives, acting on intelligence, tracked the suspect to a hotel in Nkpor, where he was allegedly waiting to sell the children.

He was eventually arrested during the operation, and the children were safely recovered.

The suspect was initially taken to the SASA office in Upper Iweka, Onitsha, before being handed over to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in Awka for further investigation.
