Dhaka, Aug. 16 -- Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus on Friday extended birthday greetings to BNP Chairperson and former prime minister Begum Khaleda Zia by sending her a bouquet of flowers.BNP Standing Committee member and Khaleda Zia's personal physician, Professor Dr AZM Zahid Hossain, confirmed the gesture to journalists.

"As you know, today marks the birthday of our leader, the 'Mother of Democracy,' three-time prime minister Begum Khaleda Zia. Although she does not celebrate the day, the party is organising milad and doa mahfils across the country," Dr Zahid said.
