Bangladesh, Aug. 22 -- Sharmin Akter, the champion of the music competition 'Channel i Banglar Gaan 2016', and musician Sabbir Qureshi have tied the knot.

Their wedding ceremony was recently completed at the Gausul Azam Mosque in the capital.

Expressing her feelings about her new life, Sharmin said, "Marriage is a very important decision in life.

New responsibilities, new relationships-all of it feels different. I have started a new journey with the love and prayers of my family and close people."
