Bangladesh, June 20 -- Walton has commenced exports of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) to the United States. The shipment reinforces Bangladesh's emergence as a player in advanced technology manufacturing.

The inaugural export shipment was flagged off on Thursday at Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC's headquarters in Chandra, Gazipur.

Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister and Science and Technology Minister Faqir Mahbub Anam, along with Prime Minister's ICT Adviser Rehan Asif Asad, formally inaugurated the PCBA export with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
