Osmani Medical College Hospital-which occurred while the journalists were performing their professional duties-journalism leaders stated that this despicable attack was an attempt to shackle independent journalism and the right to freedom of expression.

It serves as a severe blow to the legitimate right of the people of Sylhet to access healthcare services. This assault is not merely against the journalists; it is an attack on the entire population of Sylhet.
