Dhaka, Aug. 23 -- A motorcyclist was killed after being run over by a sand-laden tractor in Kochukata Bandar Para area of Nilphamari Sadar on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Rashedul Islam, 25, son of Mahabul Islam of Kochukata Borobari area.
Witnesses said Rashedul was returning home on his motorcycle after buying barbed wire from the market. While overtaking two tractors heading towards Nilphamari, his motorcycle hit the front tractor.
He fell onto the road and was run over by another tractor from behind, dying on the spot.
