Bangladesh, May 21 -- Bangladesh Cricket team whitewashed Pakistan Cricket team 2-0 in two-Test series after defeating the tourists by 78 runs in the second Test on the fifth and final day at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.

Litton Das notched up 126 in the first innings and knocked 69 in the second innings. Litton Das was adjudged the Man of the Match for his terrific batting performance. Ace batter Mushfiqur Rahim scored overall 253 runs playing two Test matches against Pakistan.

He was adjudged the Player of the Series for his consistent batting performance. This is for the first time Bangladesh whitewashed Pakistan at home. Bangladesh whitewashed Pakistan 2-0 at Rawalpindi in Pakistan in 2024.
