Dhaka, Sept. 8 -- Faiz Tayeb Ahmed, Special Assistant to the Chief Advisor in charge of the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, has ordered the improvement of Teletalk's network in Sylhet's tourist areas.He gave this information in a post on Facebook on Sunday.
He said that Bangladesh Telecommunication Company Limited (BTCL) has launched free WiFi and free telephone services at Sylhet Osmani International Airport. Although the service was initially launched with a throughput of 40 Mbps, it has been promised to be increased to 100 Mbps within a month. After the inauguration of the service, a meeting was also held in Sylhet in the morning with Teletalk, BTCL, Postal Department, Hi-Tech Park and ICT officials.
