Bangladesh, Oct. 21 -- In Kanaighat, Sylhet, a driver named Shahabuddin (32) was hacked to death following a dispute over the queueing order for CNG-run auto-rickshaws.

The incident occurred around 8:00 AM on Tuesday (October 20) in Sonatonpunji village, located within Union No. 2, Lakshmiprasad West, of the upazila.

Shahabuddin was a resident of Sonatonpunji village. It is reported that a dispute had recently arisen between Shahabuddin and another driver regarding the queueing order for CNG-run auto-rickshaws in the Suraighat area of Kanaighat.

Following this, individuals from the opposing side attacked Shahabuddin on Tuesday morning, inflicting severe injuries with sharp weapons.
