Bangladesh, Aug. 21 -- Ishwardi upazila Jubo Swechhasebak Dal convener Shariful Islam Sharif was seriously injured after being attacked and hacked by unidentified assailants. The incident occurred at around 11:45 pm on Wednesday on the road in front of Jaynagar Kindergarten in Ishwardi Upazila.
Sharif was initially taken to Ishwardi Upazila Health Complex. Later, as his condition deteriorated, he was shifted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment.
