Bangladesh, Sept. 23 -- The Bangladesh Women's Cricket Team experienced a historic setback at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, finishing outside the medal positions for the first time since women's cricket was introduced to the Games.

Having earned podium finishes in every previous appearance-silver in 2010 and 2014, and bronze in 2022-the failure to capture a medal in 2026 marks a clear step down for the national team on the continental stage.
