Bangladesh, Oct. 12 -- A high-level seminar in Dhaka on Sunday highlighted the continuing relevance of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam's ideals of freedom, equality, secularism and social justice, with speakers calling for greater efforts to promote his humanist philosophy among younger generations.

The discussion, titled "Kazi Nazrul Islam: The Universal Voice of Freedom and Humanity", was held at the Multipurpose Hall of the Foreign Service Academy on Bailey Road, according to a press release issued on October 11, 2026.
