Bangladesh, April 23 -- Shyamol Boran Das has officially joined as the new chief executive officer (CEO) of upay, one of the country's mobile financial service providers.

He brings with him more than 25 years of experience in digital banking and the wider financial sector. Throughout his career, Das has played an important role in making modern financial services more accessible to a wider population. He has experience across a range of areas, including mobile financial services, digital banking, retail and SME solutions, agent banking and card services. Before joining upay, he held key leadership positions at several major financial institutions in the country.
