Bangladesh, Oct. 7 -- The government is establishing 'Shishu Swarga' facilities in 22 districts to provide integrated treatment and rehabilitation services to around 350,000 children with cerebral palsy across the country, State Minister for Health and Family Welfare Dr MA Muhit said on Tuesday.
He made the remarks while addressing a programme at the National Institute of Neurosciences and Hospital in Agargaon as the chief guest, marking World Cerebral Palsy Day.
Dr Muhit said the initiative was part of the government's efforts to ensure the rights of and provide services to children and persons with disabilities.
