Dhaka, Oct. 27 -- The 152nd Birth Anniversary of Sher-e-Bangla Abul Kashem Fazlul Huq was observed nationwide on Sunday.

The country commemorated the 152nd birth anniversary of Sher-e-Bangla Abul Kashem Fazlul Huq on Sunday.

Known as Sher-e-Bangla, or "The Tiger of Bengal," Fazlul Huq was born on October 26, 1873.

Various political organisations remembered him through various programmes to honour his legacy.

Leaders and activists honoured with floral wreaths offering prayers at his grave, located adjacent to Suhrawardy Udyan in Dhaka as part of the tribute.
