Bangladesh, Nov. 4 -- Panam City, a historic heritage site in Sonargaon upazila of Narayanganj, attracts large numbers of local and foreign tourists during the day. However, as evening falls, much of the historic city is plunged into darkness due to inadequate lighting and security arrangements.

Local residents and concerned citizens have expressed concern over the lack of adequate lighting and security measures.

Questions have also been raised about the iron-pipe barriers at the entrance, which many believe undermine the site's aesthetic appeal.

According to local sources, several parts of Panam City remain poorly lit after sunset, raising concerns about possible unwanted activities and the protection of the historic structures.
