Dhaka, Aug. 23 -- Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar arrived in Dhaka this afternoon on a two-day official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations.

Dar landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) around 2 pm on a special flight, and was received by Foreign Secretary Asad Alam Siam, HSIA executive director Group Captain SM Ragib Samad told BSS.

Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain is scheduled to hold official talks with the visiting deputy premier and foreign minister on Sunday morning at the state guest house Padma in the capital, an official of the foreign ministry said.
