Dhaka, Dec. 25 -- North South University (NSU) has undertaken a comprehensive initiative to promote mental health and overall well-being among its students and faculty members. The initiative was jointly launched by the university's Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) andCounseling and Well-being Center (CWC).
Growing concern over mental health in educational institutions has been highlighted in recent surveys, which reveal alarming levels of burnout among teachers and rising rates of stress, depression, loneliness, and lack of concentration among students. In response to this reality, NSU authorities have taken effective steps to strengthen mental and holistic well-being across the university, says a press release.
