Dhaka, Dec. 27 -- North Zone emerged champions in the Women's Bangladesh Cricket League (WBCL) T20 2025-26 after they beat Central Zone by 10 wickets in the last league match at the Rajshahi Divisional Stadium on Thursday.
The match effectively turned into the final of the competition after both teams came into the contest with eight points from five matches. However, North bowlers made light work of the opposition as they bowled Central out for just 56 runs in 19.2 overs after electing to field first. North pacer Farzana Yeasmin Medha claimed 3-8 in her four overs, while fellow pacer Shorifa Khatun took two wickets. For Central, only skipper Nigar Sultana Joty reached double figures, making 11 off 16 balls.
