Bangladesh, Oct. 15 -- The Ministry of Education has introduced a digital lottery for class one and written admission tests for classes two to nine in government secondary schools for the 2027 academic year, under a new policy published on Tuesday night.

All applications, fee collection, result processing and publication for government secondary school admissions in Bangladesh in 2027 will be conducted online, according to the Bangladesh Government School Admission Policy 2027 issued by the Secondary and Higher Education Division.

Under the policy, each class section will accommodate 55 students. The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) will centrally conduct the digital lottery for class one.
