Dhaka, Aug. 3 -- The National Citizen Party (NCP) will announce its "Vision for a New Bangladesh" at a rally at the capital's Shaheed Minar on Sunday, marking the first anniversary of the August 3 mass uprising that shook the political landscape last year.

At a press conference held Saturday at the party's Banglamotor office, NCP Convenor Nahid Islam said the public event will begin at 4 p.m. and will outline the party's proposed framework for state restructuring, drawn from the voices and concerns of citizens across the country.
