Dhaka, Aug. 13 -- The National Fisheries Week 2025 will be observed across the country from August 18, with the aim of enhancing fisheries resources, ensuring sustainable development, and raising public awareness about conservation.
This year's theme is "Building Sanctuaries Makes the Country Rich with Local Fish."
The inaugural ceremony will take place at 10am on August 18 at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center (BCFCC).
Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus will attend the ceremony as the chief guest, while Fisheries and Livestock Adviser Farida Akhter will preside over the event, reports BSS.
