Dhaka, Aug. 13 -- National and International Youth Day was observed in Khulna on Tuesday with various programmes including youth rally, oath-taking ceremony, discussion meeting, distribution of youth loan cheques, distribution of prizes for online quiz competition, planting fruit trees in memory of the martyrs of the July Uprising, and cleanliness activities.
This year's theme of the day is 'Technology-based youth power, progress in multilateral partnerships'.
In the morning, on the occasion of the day, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Saiful Islam was the chief guest at the oath-taking ceremony, discussion meeting and distribution of youth loan cheques at the conference room of Khulna Sonadanga Youth Bhaban.
