Dhaka, Aug. 26 -- To make Narayanganj a cleaner and healthier city, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mohammad Zahidul Islam Mia has launched a new initiative under the "Green and Clean Narayanganj" campaign. The widely discussed campaign aims to ensure long-term sustainability and permanence in waste management and urban cleanliness.

On Monday (August 25), he inaugurated the program by installing 100 new dustbins at Fatullah Market. The central slogan of the drive is: "Narayanganj is our home - let's be conscious, let's keep it clean."
