Dhaka, Aug. 14 -- The MPO-Registered Education Nationalization Aspirants' Alliance has issued a one-month ultimatum to the government to meet their key demands, warning of escalating protests-including strikes and an indefinite sit-in if no action is taken.

The decision was announced on Wednesday following a meeting between a 12-member alliance delegation and the Education Adviser and Secretary at the Secretariat.

Speaking outside the National Press Club, where teachers have been staging ongoing demonstrations, alliance Member Secretary Principal Delwar Hossain Azizi detailed the protest roadmap.
