Bangladesh, Oct. 14 -- The collapse of the Naldangi Bridge connecting road in Gangni union of Mollahat upazila has created a lot of inconvenience for the public. It has now become a death trap for thousands of people who use this road every day for their lives and livelihood.

It can be seen from the ground that the Naldangi Bridge is the main means of communication for people in several villages of Gangni Union. In addition, pickup trucks carrying various goods including fish, vegetables, and other goods from Rupsha, Kachdia, and Gangni markets use this route.

Although the road has been in a poor condition for a long time, recently a large part of the connecting road collapsed and sank into the embankments on both sides of the road.
