Dhaka, Aug. 17 -- One robber was killed and two others were seriously injured in a mob attack by local residents in Kalagachia area of Narayanganj on Saturday.
According to locals, the robbers first attempted a robbery in the Shambhupura area of Sonargaon while traveling by trawler. Villagers chased them, and the robbers fled to Kalagachia, where they were surrounded by residents.
Three robbers were caught, while the others managed to escape. During the mob attack, one robber was killed on the spot, and the other two sustained serious injuries, reports UNB.
