Dhaka, Oct. 24 -- Actress and producer Meher Afroz Shaon's mother Begum Tahura Ali is no more. Shaon confirmed the death news in a post on social media.

In the post, she wrote, "It is with deep sorrow that we inform you that our beloved mother Begum Tahura Ali has passed away. May the Most Merciful Allah forgive her.

May Allah grant us Jannatul Firdaus and grant us all the strength and patience to bear this grief."
