Bangladesh, July 28 -- The government has reinstated the operating licence of Ad-Din Hospital in Moghbazar, Dhaka, nearly two months after it was revoked following the deaths of six newborns.

However, the hospital has been directed to comply strictly with three conditions before continuing its operations.

The Health Services Division under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare announced the decision in an order issued on Monday afternoon.

The reinstatement was also confirmed by the hospital's lawyer, Shishir Manir, in a social media post.

Under the ministry's order, the hospital must continue to comply with the provisions of the Medical Practice and Private Clinics and Laboratories (Regulations) Ordinance, 1982.
