Bangladesh, April 18 -- Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) has honoured 31 of its teachers with the "Vice-Chancellor Award 2024" in recognition of their publications in high-impact international journals.

The awards were presented on Thursday afternoon at the university auditorium by Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Mashud. The recipients were selected following scrutiny by faculty expert panels and recommendations from the Higher Education and Research Committee (CASR).

Speaking at the event, the VC underscored the central role of research in defining a university's quality, saying that impactful publications not only reflect individual excellence but also bring prestige to both the institution and the country.
