The Khulna City Corporation authorities have come to their attention regarding the news published on the front page of the 'Dainik Samakal' newspaper on July 28, 2026 under the headline "Only the followers of the administrator get urgent contracting work" and on the last page of the 'Dainik Manabzamin' newspaper on July 29, 2026 under the headline "KCC distributes hundreds of works without tender in Khulna". The news has been strongly protested by the KCC as it is untrue and motivated.
