Bangladesh, July 30 -- BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has said that the backdrop for the July 2024 mass uprising was created as a result of a continuous movement and struggle spanning 17 years.

He stated that the resistance and protests led by school and college students in July 2024 would remain a memorable chapter in the country's political history.

He asserted that the fascist regime came to an end through the self-sacrifice of countless students and youths.

He made these remarks while speaking to journalists at the BNP's central office in the capital's Nayapaltan area on Wednesday afternoon.
