Dhaka, Oct. 19 -- Sr. Staff Reporter, Kishoreganj :
A group of "July fighters" held a demonstration in the town on Friday evening in protest against the police action that dispersed fellow fighters at Jatiya Sangsad premises in the capital 's Manik Miah Avenue.
The protesters took to the streets near Kishoreganj Model Police Station around 5.25 pm and set fire to logs on a road, condemning the attack and demanding a speedy trial of those responsible.
The demonstrators said the assault on the peaceful movement trampled the democratic rights of the country.
