Dhaka, Oct. 26 -- Supreme Court (SC) Registrar General Mohammad Habibur Rahman Siddiquee today said the country's judiciary is on the verge of having its own separate secretariat, as the draft ordinance for establishing it has already received policy approval.
"The Advisory Council has already given its policy approval to the draft ordinance for establishing the Supreme Court Secretariat. Now, the judiciary stands at the threshold of having a separate secretariat," he told a workshop titled 'Strengthening Investigative Journalism for Supreme Court Reporters' at BRAC CDM, Rajendrapur, Gazipur.
