Bangladesh, Oct. 28 -- A 35 -years old Jubo Dal leader in Kishoreganj named Md. Imran was hacked to death over a demand for money owed to him on Monday night.

The incident took place at Pyarabhanga area under Maria Union in Kishoreganj Sadar. The deceased Imran, son of Abdus Shahid in Madhya Katiarchar area of Kishoreganj sadar.

It is learnt that Imran owed Abul Kalam of Parabhanga area Tk 2,400. He left his house on Monday evening to collect the money. Later, when he went to Abul Kalam's house and demanded the money, Abul Kalam stabbed Imran during an argument between them.

Imran was seriously injured. Later, locals rescued him and took him to Kishoreganj 250-bed General Hospital, where the doctor on duty declared him dead.
