Bangladesh, Sept. 17 -- The body of Anik Chandra Pal, a student of Jagannath University (JU), was found dead at a mess in the Chankharpul-Kayetuli area under Bangshal Police Station in the capital on Tuesday night.
Anik, a student of the Drawing and Painting Department from the 2023-24 academic session, was found unresponsive in his room at around 9:30pm.
His body was later taken to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where the attending physician declared him dead.
According to his mess-mate and fellow JU student Joy Bhuiyan, Anik had been difficult to reach since Monday.
