Dhaka, Oct. 12 -- Jahangirnagar University (JU) unit of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir has distributed first aid kits to all 21 residential halls.
The distribution ceremony was held on Friday afternoon at 3:30pm in the Teachers-Students Centre (TSC) conference room.
In an effort to promote health awareness and ensure emergency medical support in the residential halls, leaders of the student organisation handed over the first aid boxes to the health secretaries of the respective hall student councils.
Speaking at the event, Mohibur Rahman Muhib, president of JU unit Islami Chhatra Shibir said, "Our goal is to ensure that students receive immediate medical assistance in case of any accident or illness."
