Dhaka, Oct. 31 -- TheVice-Chancellor of Chattagram University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), Professor Dr. Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiyan, said that the world is facing difficult challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, disease outbreaks, greenhouse gases, resource scarcity and growing inequality.
The leadership of researchers from developing countries is very important so that they can make a meaningful contribution to solving the biggest challenges of humanity.
He further said that the fundamental knowledge required for future technological advancements, renewable energy, environmentally friendly fuels, advanced materials and technological innovations is possible only from physics.
