Dhaka, Nov. 9 -- Former Bangladesh opener Imrul Kayes is set to join the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) as a coach for the first time.

He is expected to take charge as the batting coach of the newly introduced Sylhet Titans, according to reliable sources.

Talks are also underway with former national pacer Syed Rasel for the bowling coach role. Although discussions are nearly finalized, the franchise has not made official announcements yet. Sylhet Titans have also strengthened their squad before the draft by signing Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Nasum Ahmed directly. Both played for Khulna Tigers last season.
