Dhaka, Aug. 25 -- The High Court (HC) has upheld a lower court's decision to freeze 191 bank accounts linked to Summit Group Chairman Aziz Khan, his family members, associates, and entities.
The accounts, maintained across multiple banks, hold a total of Tk41.74 crore.
The order was passed on Sunday by a bench headed by Justice JBM Hasan, following a hearing on a revision petition filed by Summit Group challenging the earlier directive.
During the hearing, Advocate Mahmudul Arefin Swapan appeared on behalf of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), while Barrister Mostafizur Rahman represented Summit Group.
