Dhaka, Dec. 25 -- A Dhaka court on Wednesday granted a five-day remand for Md Aminul Islam, also known as Raju, for allegedly assisting prime accused Faisal Karim Masud in evading arrest by hiding in a border area in connection with the Sharif Osman Hadi murder case.

Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Awlad Hossain Mohammad Junaid passed the order following a hearing on Wednesday (24 December), court sources said.Earlier in the day, police arrested Aminul from Mirpur Section-11 in the capital during an early-morning operation.
