Bangladesh, Oct. 14 -- A German tourist has recovered his stolen laptop after a joint effort by several police units in Bangladesh.
Inspector General of Police (IGP) Md Ali Hossain Fakir formally handed over the laptop to German tourist Krill Lander at Police Headquarters on Tuesday morning.
Lander expressed gratitude to Bangladesh Police and shared his positive experiences during his visit to the country, according to a press release issued by Police Headquarters.
The laptop and a camera belonging to Lander were stolen at Natore Railway Station on the afternoon of October 7. He was going to an ATM booth to withdraw money to buy a train ticket when he left his bag, containing the devices, with a man who claimed to be a railway official....
