Dhaka, Oct. 18 -- Mr Jean-Marc SERE-CHARLET, Ambassador of France to Bangladesh, visited Chattagram Port on Wednesday.
After arriving at Chattagram Port, he met with the Honorable Chairman of the Port Authority, Rear Admiral S. M. Moniruzzaman, OSP, NDC, NCC, PSC, in a courtesy call.
The Chairman briefed the Ambassador on the development and progress indicators of Chattagram Port, especially the reduction of ship waiting time, turnaround time, container duel time, and increase in yard capacity, digitalization and other issues.
Mr Jean-Marc SERE-CHARLET expressed satisfaction with the current operational capacity, efficiency, various development projects, security measures and recent successes of the port.
