Dhaka, Aug. 12 -- The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has exempted foreign nationals working in Bangladesh from filing income tax returns online.
With this new category, the number of categories which would be exempted from filing compulsory e-return is five.
The other four categories are Senior citizens aged 65 years or above, physically challenged or especially abled taxpayers (upon submission of valid certification), Bangladeshi taxpayers residing abroad; and Legal representatives filing returns on behalf of deceased taxpayers, reports UNB.
