Dhaka, Oct. 19 -- European Union Ambassador Miller has lauded the signing of the July, calling it a significant milestone in Bangladesh's political transition.

He in a Facebook post on Friday described the charter as a document that establishes broad political consensus on fundamental reforms, emphasising its importance in the country's ongoing political transition.

"Today, I was delighted to join the signing ceremony of the July Charter, a document which sets out broad political consensus on fundamental reforms," he said.

The ambassador highlighted that the signing demonstrates a unity of purpose among political stakeholders as Bangladesh prepares for national elections scheduled for early 2026.
