Dhaka, Nov. 9 -- The Election Commission (EC) has decided to grant registration to 16 additional local organisations to observe the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election, scheduled to be held in February 2026.

The decision was announced through a public notice signed by Akhtar Ahmed, Senior Secretary of the EC Secretariat, on Saturday (8 November).

According to the notice, anyone wishing to raise objections or claims regarding the registration of these observer organisations must submit them in writing to the Senior Secretary of the EC Secretariat in Agargaon, Dhaka, within 15 working days - by 27 November 2025.
