Dhaka, Oct. 18 -- Three popular South Indian actresses, Tamannaah Bhatia, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Rakulpreet Singh, have been embroiled in controversy over the upcoming by-elections in Telangana, India.

The Election Commission (EC) of that country has launched an investigation after fake voter cards were circulated in their names in the Jubilee Hills assembly constituency.

Voter cards with the names and pictures of three heroines went viral on social media.

Addresses of all three are the same, which has further raised suspicions.
