Dhaka, Oct. 27 -- Professor Dr. Mamun Ahmed, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) of Dhaka University, returned to the country on Saturday, October 24, 2025, after a 15-day official visit to China.
Invited by the President of the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS), he participated in the fellowship program titled 'Higher Education and Public Health Sector: Lessons from China' organized by SIIS.
During his visit, Professor Ahmed held separate meetings with prominent officials including Chen Dongxiao, President of SIIS, senior authorities from China International Communications Group (CICG), the Vice President of the Academic of Contemporary China and World Studies (ACCWS), and the senior leaders of Tongji University.
