Bangladesh, Aug. 25 -- Police arrested a drug dealer and seized yaba tablets, cannabis, cash and a knife during an anti-drug operation in Boga Union of Bauphal upazila in Patuakhali on Sunday.
The arrested man was Kamrul Islam alias Khokon Dofadar, 46, son of the late Abul Kashem Dofadar of Boga village in Ward No. 3 of the union.
According to police, a team led by Zainal Abedin, in-charge of Boga Police Outpost, launched the operation based on a tip-off. Members of the team went undercover, posing as drug buyers, and arrested Khokon during the operation.Police later searched him and recovered the drugs and other items.
