Bangladesh, April 12 -- Dhaka has strongly condemned the recent Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon, which have resulted in civilian casualties, including the death of a Bangladeshi national.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on Saturday expressing deep concern over the escalation of violence and its potential to derail ongoing peace efforts in the region.

In its condemnation, Bangladesh expressed shock and sorrow over the loss of innocent lives due to the Israeli attacks, highlighting the devastating impact the violence has had on civilians.

The Ministry also specifically denounced the killing of Dipali, a Bangladeshi citizen, who was reportedly killed in an Israeli airstrike on Beirut.
